Ant Horasanli’s first film was the award-winning documentary Redline which won “Best Documentary Feature” in 2003 at the Long Island, New York Film Festival.
In 2008 he wrote, produced, and directed, Lost Journey. The film garnered support from Telefilm Canada and was released theatrically in multiplex’s throughout Toronto and Los Angeles. The screenplay is on display at the Academy for Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Lost Journey was acquired by distributor Mongrel Media and sold to Super Channel and Netflix.
In 2011, Ant was awarded a full production grant by the Ontario Arts Council to produce a feature length documentary in Turkey. His most recent short film, Inhibit, premiered at the Art Gallery of Ontario and went on to play at the Museum of London.
On July 28th 2014, Ant began production on his second feature film Gear, a crime drama filmed in Montreal, Quebec City, and the Greater Toronto Area. Gear is currently slated for release in 2016.
